The open letter contains the real score of Alden Richards on their AlDub love team to be just friends. Not only this revelation but she shared her sentiments and feelings regarding her situation in the showbiz industry and how she wants to do what she likes and not living in a box. After two days that her open letter was released she went to the United States for a short vacation leave which she requested from her manager. Because of her revelations and expose, many people speculate that it is the beginning of her showbiz career downfall and also from Eat Bulaga. But it was denied by the Eat Bulaga's main host and television presenter Vic Sotto that the phenomenal star will return on the Kapuso Television Network noontime show Eat Bulaga."Ang alam ko, nakabakasyon siya. I’m not really in the know, I’m not privy to anything na personal niyang desisyon. Kasi, para sa akin, kung ano man yun… respetuhin na lang natin kung ano man yung mga issues niya, kung ano man yung mga pinagdadaanan niya. Siya lang nakakaalam dun. The Eat Bulaga's pillar, Bossing Vic Sotto clarified the speculations of netizens that she disappeared in the noontime show Eat Bulaga two days after her revelation in her open letter that makes her suspended.

"Definitely she’ll be back. Alam naman nating she’s having a good time sa States with her family. Doon sila magki-Christmas."
The phenomenal star talent manager Rams David told that Maine Mendoza required some rest for some time because of her many commitments in showbiz. She will be back on the Kapuso noontime show Eat Bulaga on the first day of January 2018. Rams David uttered:
