Good News: Returning OFW, Your i-DOLE OFW Card are now available for free!

Attention to all Overseas Filipino Worker(OFW), the iDOLE OFW Card is now accessible for retreating OFWs, as stated by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). They are needed to log in to their BM online accounts if they would like to get their ID, according to the news announced by the Philippine News Agency (PNA). For now, this is suitable to the returning OFWs. According to the DOLE Secretary Silvestre Bello III on December 7, Thursday,
"This is only the first phase of implementation and will cater to our Balik-Manggagawa (BM) until the system is ready for all OFWs. We are doing this to secure the database and for further improvements in the system."

OFW IDS NOW AVAILABLE TO RETURNING WORKERS: DOLE, FIRST PHASE OF THE IMPLEMENTATION BEGINS For all the Filipinos who are coming back to the Philippines can log in and set up their account with the iDOLE One-Stop Online Facility/Portal (http://www.idole.ph), and employ for the OFW IF by bringing their latest and accurate Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) Number.

You can use the iDOLE Card to get free travel tax and free terminal fee when traveling abroad, this is the benefits you get when you have an iDOLE Card. Rather of going through a long procedure, you just need to show your ID so it makes more helpful for OFWs as we really have any time to progress documents. Please be informed that the production of these cards are financed by the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) and the iDOLE OFW Card is free.

The Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III said,
"This is free of our OFWs. We do not want our OFWs to shoulder the cost because this is a gift from the President to recognize their sacrifices and immense contribution to our economy." 
To create a more decent and complete Labor Market Information System was the ultimate goal for the iDOLE System is to link the database of the DOLE offices as well as other agencies and government offices.
