It will never cause us so much pain to be selfless and generous to those people who are not. And even though you’ve got the short end of the stick, it still never cause you pain to give patience and understanding. When this kind-hearted motorist named Mikkie Belen got into an incident, he taught us a lesson about compassion and kindness. Mikkie was driving his vehicle when it was suddenly hit by a taxi driver. The accident created a small damage to his car but what’s more, worse on the incident is that the taxi driver was attempting to persuade everyone that it isn't his mistake but rather it was Mikkie's fault.

The blaring horns of the motorists together with the heat of the sun made Mikkie be mad. He then said to traffic enforces to take this incident with the police. But when the police officers appeared to recognize that it was his fault, the proud tone of the taxi driver suddenly changed.

However, the parties involved should give PHP 200 and Mikkie didn’t know about this when filing a police report. The taxi driver then said that his money was only PHP 500 trying to get the sympathy of Mikkie. Mikkie declined and told that he would contact their taxi company to shove the expense since he was super angry at that time. But things suddenly changed when Mikkie discovered that everything was going to be taken from the wages of the taxi driver.

“Medyo naawa ako kay manong. But still yung pride ko and init ng ulo nangibabaw. But then how could I take this hard working man’s money.” 

The kind-hearted motorist then said to each of us to be thoughtful and considerate if they ever get into encountered the similar situation. Yes, we always need to fight for what we think is right but it will never be such a waste of our time and it will never cause us so much pain to put yourself in somebody else’s shoes.
