The recent speculation about the rumored couple Ellen Adarna and John Lloyd Cruz has been making waves on social media, next to the rumored that Ellen Adarna is pregnant with the child of John Lloyd Cruz. The fan-managed Instagram account ellen_johnlloyd recently posted a series of photos and caption “Diamonds are forever…” The pictures were screenshots in a clip of Ellen Adarna having fun playing with her dog, Louis, wherein in the said clip which showed in the right middle finger of Ellen Adarna that she was wearing tow diamond rings. Social media users instantly jumped to the conclusion that one of the rings that wearing of Ellen Adarna was given by John Lloyd Cruz, her rumored boyfriend. This stimulates an argument whether the rumored couple is engaged or not?Early March this year that the two rumored beginning dating each other, next to their getaway outing with their friends in Ilocos Norte. In the months that followed the rumored ultimately died down. The rumored couple was spotted at the seaside area of Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila with a friend waiting for Manila Bay’s famous sunset view in September and the speculations once again begin. September was also a month when a picture of John Lloyd Cruz and Ellen Adarna during their vacation in Cebu became the talk of the town, wherein the rumored couple lying side by side on the beach. In the clip where the actor, John Lloyd Cruz acting weird made it's round online, a few saying that John Lloyd was high on something, while the actress, Ellen Adarna preparing foods in the background. On September 24, in the Instagram account of the actor, John Lloyd Cruz certainly express his feelings to the actress as he posted the picture of the two of them and captioned:
“Sobrang baduy neto pero this girl really did something good to my soul. i’ll always be grateful.”
From his network ABS-CBN, John Lloyd Cruz went on an indefinite leave in October, which as the consecutive months verified, was due to his planned Euro-trip with Ellen Adarna. At last, different news from websites ‘confirmed’ that Ellen Adarna is truly pregnant with a child of John Lloyd Cruz, her rumored boyfriend. Though, Ellen Adarna has still not admitted the said issue. When Ellen's camp was questioned about the said rumored, whether it's true or not, Pia Campos, her manager said:

A clip of Ellen wearing two diamond rings can hardly be called proof of their engagement if any. So, it stills unconfirmed whether the rumored couple was engaged or not. A few netizens pointed out, that the ‘engagement ring’ cannot be considered because the two worn the ring on the wrong finger.
