"Number 1 na kailangan ay ang kalidad ng binhi na gagamitin, may variety sya na matibay, malakas ang production nya, malakas mamunga. Hindi ko pinababayaan ang mga tauhan ko. Saisang ektaryang lupa kelangan po ng atleast 2-3 helper, pagka panahon ng tag-ani nagdadagdag po ako ng mga 4-5. Sila po ang mga tao sa paligid. Nandito na ang source ko ng tao,meron naman akong capital na kaya nag renta po ako ng panibago para tuloy tuloy ang kita ko, tuloy ang trabaho ng tao baka kung ako ay wala na, o kaya ay di ko na kaya magsaka, Sila yung magpapatuloy ng ginagawa ko."
He concluded that even in a 1 hectare of farmland there will be a good future for his family. He foresees that number people are escalating, e need more supplies of food. He also requested the assistance of the government agencies for the processing of the harvested food and vegetables, so that they will continue to work and farm for the benefits of the people.Thre must be a certain place and buyers that will but their goods and harvest vegetables from their farmland. The Product Manager of East-West Seed Company, Michael Dela Paz acknowledge and give honors to the Hero farmer like John Gatus a former OFW, all over the country. He added
"Kada isang farmer ay hero, bakit kamo kasi sila ang nagpapakain sa atin, yung selflessness, ibig sabihin yung talagang willingness kung kelangan para makatulong sa mga kapwa farmer.Gusto natin ang farmer ay isang modelo, yung respetado sa kanyang komunidad."
Johnny Gatus encouraged other OFW if they have a chance to engage in farming there is a chance to have a profit same as their salary or more in abroad.
