Retired PAF soldiers ends up to be homeless and broke after her merciless relatives took all his retirement benefits!

One of the hardest jobs that one could ever have is being a soldier. Indeed, that the soldiers are often considered unknown heroes putting their lives in any society to protect the country from the outside crisis. And to be out of one's mind - by existing in decrepit circumstances when one is a retired soldier - is not something commoner should deal with these heroes. In the facebook page of All About the Philippines, the disappointing story of one retired soldier is now talk of the town after the pictures reveal that the old man is living on the nasty streets as if the old man was not cared for and abandoned. The additional investigation showed differently.

The man identified as a retired Philippine Air Force (PAF) personnel with the rank of staff sergeant (SSgt.), and identified him as Narciso Dela Cruz Alpas, as stated by the Manila Channel. Alpas, or "Tatay Isok", was enlisted with PAF. By being assigned to 356 Engineering Squadron (ES) of the 355th Aviation Engineering Wing (AEW), that was the start of his outstanding career. The said division holds the planning, maintenance, and construction of airways and another framework allowed of high importance by the government.

As stated by the reports, before Tatay Isok was designated as part of the 710 Special Operation Wing (SPOW), he had previously joined the 730 Combat Group in Nasugbu, Batangas. Remember that the SPOW is the elite fighters in PAF. The SPOW unit is the front-liner in dealing with hostile elements and civilian mass actions. Furthermore, the best force under PAF is tasked with coordinating air strikes, explosives disposal, operations and training of canine units and their respective handlers. But the days where Tatay Isok will risk his own life for his fellow Filipinos were gone nowadays because he’s left to his own devices - something dangerous for a man who's gently losing his mind.

As stated by the Executive Order 76, as Staff Sgt., he’s supposed to receive over a Php27,997.50, broken down as follows: base pay of Php18,665.00 plus the long pay of Php9,332.50. But as stated by a certain unnamed person that all of the monthly pension of Tatay Isok was claimed by his relatives. Luckily, his comrades at PAF noticed the call for help for Tatay Isok, thanks to the social media. Tatay Isok was taken him out of the streets in Antique and handed over to the regional office of the Department of Social Welfare and Development, according to the Facebook post of PAF. Furthermore, the PAF will be holding further preparations to guarantee that Tatay Iso will leave a comfortable life -befitting of a hero.
