After a certain netizen shared the story of a Canadian woman and Pinoy man, it was immediately become the trending topic of the social media users as they were amazed to the effort of the girl who went all the way to the Philippines in order for her to personally meet her lover.
Way back in 2009, on a simple friend request on Facebook was the beginning of their love story. Just like others, before they reached the sudden romance, they also began on a friendly conversation. The couple just only communicated on the social media and they were never really met each other in person. Because of this, the woman decided to travel all the way here in the Philippines which is her boyfriend's native land and take all the risk.
At the General Santos City airport, which is the hometown of the man, where they finally met and see each other in person.
However, their happiness to be together with each other does not take long because the girl needed to come back to Canada. But still, even though they were again in a long distance relationship, their love for each other never fades instead they love each other more.
The couple then met again at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport after a few years. Then they travel to General Santos City together.
But this time, it was not just a simple visit. Because the reason why the woman traveled again all the way here in the Philippines is to marry her boyfriend.
