Now that summer is already here, and surely we will experience the hot weather and the most thing that we are looking now is the electric fan or air-conditioning just to make our body cool and in order for us not to get sweat. But just like the other appliances, an electric fan can also harm us. Some of us wouldn't believe it because who would think that electric fan can harm us when the only thing that this can do is to cool our bodies.
A man from Thailand died while his sleeping and three electric fans were pointing at him. As stated by the Viral 4 Real, the man was 44 years old from Tambon Nai Muang, Chaiyaphum province, and identified as Sobthawee Boonkua. His body found dead while sleeping in his relative's house with his 86-year-old mother.
His relatives were instantly called an ambulance. The Muang Chaiyaphum police, Lt. Colonel Thanasit Apiboonworaset appeared on the scene at 8:30 am along with an investigator and examinations conducted on the dead body and found out that the cause of his death was Hypothermia.
The normal temperature of a person is 37° C when the body reaches 35° C, it can ultimately lead to Hypothermia. Hypothermia occurs when the body dissipates more heat than it absorbs. This is the condition where the body reduces the temperature.
