OFW in Saudi Arabia, received an award for his heroic acts!

One of the Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) was awarded a gratitude because of his bravery to sink into the flood in Jeddah to help the man who was trapped in the flood. Saripada Dawood Balindong was become an instant celebrity because of the video that becomes the talked of the town on the Internet, where his bravery to save the old man who was trapped in his car because of the flood due to heavy rain will be seen.Because of his heroism, the Pinoy OFW gets a praise and thanksgiving, as well as in the Philippines, because of his bravery to go down in the flood.

At the same time, the Civil Defense rescuers just waiting to subside the flood. According to Balindong in his interview at Almowaten, he said that
"I saw the man trapped in the water. I did not hesitate, I left the car I was driving and rushed to save him. Civil Defense men were watching me saving him." 
Balindong also said that
"I knew I had to jump and brave the floods in order to save 'Baba'."

In Facebook page named "AKO OFW Inc", they shared the pictures of Balendo who will be seen receiving a tribute to the Saudi national. But in the said photos, no detail was given on what kind of honor or award was received by Balindong, the Pinoy OFW. His fellow Filipinos and netizens showed him an admiration. According to the Facebook caption post, the caption said:
"Ito ay patunay lamang na ang bawat OFW ay may dugo ng kabayanihan at pagmamalasakit sa kapwa."
