It was a busy week for the phenomenal love team Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards. They were both outside the country for their commitments on their concerts and product endorsement. The phenomenal star Maine Mendoza is in Canada for the collaboration with the MAC Cosmetics having a leading manufacturer of lipstick in the world. While Alden Richards is in Sydney Australia for his concert, entertaining and giving happiness to all the fans. Their busy weeks will not exempt them from bashers and haters and that is why AlDub Nation members are for the defense for them particularly the one who love Maine Mendoza. Because the collaboration of Maine Mendoza with the MAC Cosmetics for promoting their lipsticks in Canada has been an issue for the bashers and critics.Here are some of their criticism against Maine Mendoza.
"Magkaiba ang endorser sa influencer. Ang endorser may posters, TVCs, and extensive & expensive ad campaigns. Ang influencer hanggang promotional events, online posts, and HTs lang."
"Kung sino-sino ang kinukuha niyang MAC. Latest endorser nga nila for their fragrance line is Blac Chyna, former stripper/baby momma of Rob Kardashian. Magyabang kayo kung Lancome ang kumuha sa kanya and endorser talaga siya and ka-liga niya sina Julia Roberts, etc."
Because of these bashers reaction against Maine Mendoza, the AlDub nation is for the defense.
"If being a glorified promo girl is being paid worth millions then why not? Oh I am really so proud that a true blooded Pinay was chosen by MAC."
"Endorser, influencer or whatsoever, the fact that they chose @mainedcm and not anyone else is a big achievement. ‘KAYABANG YABANG’ for us ADN. And as a Filipino, you should be proud of her, even if you’re a fan or not."
On the other hand, the noontime show Eat Bulaga was bashed by the AlDub fans because of being unfair for giving airtime to Maine. The AlDub fans noticed that they give more favor than Alden Richards.
"It’s very disappointing to see SO VERY LITTLE of Maine today in Sugod Bahay – the only segment in Eat Bulaga where fans can enjoy her presence and see her engaged with people. For some reason, when you put Alden on the panel, you had to take away so much of Maine’s exposure."
"Today, we watched Sugod Bahay without Maine in it even when she’s there. It’s bad enough that the tabloid writers who dined at Alden’s press banquet continue to use Maine to promote GMA’s actors, but for Eat Bulaga to treat her the same way is disconcerting. Equal treatment for Maine is all we ask, give her the opportunity to shine on HER OWN.
