After the few months of the drowning accident that happened to the late Hashtag Franco Hernandez, finally, her girlfriend Janica Nam Floresca breaks her silence and revealed the truth about the drowning accident. Janica Nam Floresca, the girlfriend of late Hashtag member Franco Hernandez breaks her silence and expose her side story about the drowning accident that took the life of her beloved boyfriend, Franco Hernandez.

According to Janica to the interview with the entertainment site PEP, she said that the allegation of Hashtag Dom Doromal and Rico Igalan and Efren Kilang, the two "bangkeros" were in opposition to what had happened. Janica stated in the interview that,

"Yung sa Rated K, yung sinabi niya (Tom) na ni-rush daw sa ospital, 'yun ang gusto ko i-correct. Kasi hindi naman talaga ni-rush. And ako lang yung nag-rush. Ako lang yung sumama. Sumunod lang sila. When they left the resort owned by Tom Doromal's family in Don Marcelino, Davao Occidental, Janica is stressed because there was no life vest in the boat as they go to the White Sand Island in Sitio Ilib, North Lamidan."

Janica added,

"Tapos, 'dun sa mga bangkero na, hindi ko alam kung bakit nila nasabi 'yun, na meron daw life vest. Ayaw daw namin suotin. Sila 'yung nagpatalon sa amin. Wala silang life vest. T'saka hindi kami dapat aalis 'dun hanggat hindi namin sinusuot yung life vest, di ba? Dapat ganon. Or kahit meron man lang sa banca na life vest na iniwan as in, wala talaga." 

On their way back to Tom's resort from White Sand Island, Janica relayed how their motorized banca was hit by big waves. Janica said,

"Nung papunta ang lakas ng alon, e, pero kaya pa. Tas nung pabalik, as in sobrang malakas na siya. Yung tuluy-tuloy, para kaming nasa surf board na aahon kami tapos biglang bababa. As in, talaga yung alon, nakikita talaga namin sa gilid na parang pataas-pababa. Last baba namin, may malaking alon, 'dun kami napasukan ng tubig."

As stated by Janica Nam Floresca, she and Franco were floating in the water for about 30 minutes before they come to the shore with the "bangkero" who rescue them. Janica also said,

"Tapos 'nung nakarating na kami ng shore, ayun na si Franco, tapos ako. Tas parang ako 'yung ire-revive nila. Sabi ko, Dun kayo lahat kay Franco. Sabi ko, Gawin niyo lahat. Huwag kayo titigil hanggat hindi nagigising.' Tapos pag-ahon sa amin, as in dilaw na kami, nangingitim na kami. Tapos si Franco, wala na siyang malay 'nun, pero may pulso pa siya. Meron pa talaga."

Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) Children in Davao City were abused based on the record, reaching a total of 132 documented cases!

In Davao City, The Mindanao Migrants Center of Empowering Actions, Inc. (MMCEAI) told that there are overall 132 documented cases of children of Overseas Filipino Workers(OFWs) being maltreated and molested. On Monday, November 27, during the "Kapehan Sa Dabaw"at The Annex of SM City Davao, Inoria Sialana-Elento, the executive director of MMCEAI, said that from 2014 to 2017, their statistics show that there are different abuses and maltreated cases against the children who are excluded by their parents.

Though Inoria didn't completely say what are the kind of cases, however, Inoria said that this also covers of OFW abandonment, abandonment by foreign nationals, and negligence of parents and guardians. Inoria said,

"Mataas din dito ang s*xual abuse, teenage parents or pregnancy, and school dropouts." 

One of the concerns among the youth is the internet addiction due to the shortage guidance from their OFW parent.

Last October 16, 18 and 21, during the series of congressional district Anak OFW Workshop Consultation there is a total of 100 participants visited by some children of active OFWs which 20 of them encounter s*xual abuse. Sialana-Elena added We made a silent shoutbox and there are cases of sexual abuse." In addition to this, there is also physical and verbal abuse by their guardian, as well as economic abuse, abortion, illegal dr*gs, and bullying.

Hence, they are pursuing the government's assistance to assist these children in checking and support their needs in the absence of their parents. Moreover, they pushed the local government units to build opportunities and support the employment for the parents of these children so they would not need to go overseas again. Also, they are pushing the establishment of Barangay's Migrant Desk to check after the problem and the situation that the families and OFWs are facing.

The "Somtam vendor" has built up her confidence and her self-esteem, as she stepped on stage with a huge smile on her face. Wanida added,

But her makeover was too late because her boyfriend died in a car crash four days earlier she was agreed to reveal her "new" Wanida. According to Wanida in the interview with Workpoint:

"I was speechless. I didn’t believe it at first. I thought it was a prank." "He accepted me for how I used to look. I loved and miss him very much."

Life goes on for the contentious "Somtam vendor", someway the vendor will start a new life in Korea. She will start working as one of the chosen staff in Department of Labor for its three-year program in 2018. Noppajit Monlin, a 22-year-old Thai factory worker, who is the first one to be featured in the Thai version of Korean plastic surgery "Let Me In". Nopajjit born with a tangled jaw. The imperfection made it hard for him to chomp properly and ultimately compelled him to detach himself from friends and co-workers.
