Kuwait Security officials had found the lifeless body of Dimapilis a Household service worker inside a freezer in an unoccupied apartment in the State of Kuwait. The flat was formerly occupied by her Lebanese employer who had left Kuwait last 2016 together with his Syrian wife. The unfortunate Pinay OFW Dimapilis has allegedly suffered maltreatment at the controls of her sponsors. She was physically maltreated, not given a proper food and she was not given her monthly salary.
The finding of another lifeless body of a Pinay OFW creates another argument and discuss whether to prolong the extension of the suspension of deployment of the newly hired OFW's bound to Kuwait or totally banned because of the additional incident discovered. The Department of Labor and Employment has given the warning to the Kuwaiti labor attache to scrutinize on the de*th of OFW"s in the State of Kuwait. The DOLE Sec uncovered that investigation is in progress and they required that the truth shall prevail to know the reason for the de*th cases of the Overseas Filipino Workers.
It was approximately 250,000 Overseas Filipino Workers working in the Gulf countries and there is an increase of the quantity of maltreatment by their employers and sponsors.
