Isang mayamang Fil-Am ang may Lupain at Sportscar sa America, pero mas pinili niya maging Security Guard dito sa Pilipinas

Many Filipinos are dreaming to migrate to foreign countries because they want to uplift their standard of living and to seek for a greener pasture for their family and relatives as well. Although it is a great struggle to be separated from family members particularly with your spouse and children still many people want to migrate to foreign countries like the United States of America, Canada, and the United Kingdom and other westernized destination. However, there is one Filipino-American named Chase Marcum III whose blood favors with Filipino race rather than American. Regardless of his abundant lifestyle in the United States, the simple mestizo exchanged it and reside in the land of his father. Remembering his previous days in the Sta. Rosa California, he told that he was substantial in the US, he had a degree in Anthropology, a house, and car and having a salary ranging from $2,000 to $3,000 which when converted to Philippine currency will be a big fortune monthly. It will be from Php 100,000 to Php 150,000 that will hugely supply their family needs and for sure that it is more than enough. Many will be envy with him of this great privileges, but the Fil-Am man exchanged it all to stay here in the country after he went on a vacation for the first time in the Philippines.

He told that the beautiful place of Boracay makes him stay with his father.
"Dalawa o tatlong linggo doon ako sa Boracay kasama tatay ko. Sobrang maganda ang lugar dun. White sand, sobrang clear ang tubig. Maraming fresh na seafoods."
After the three weeks vacation, he concluded that it is not enough, rather he should stay forever. Since he was much fond and love the country of his father, Chase decided to live in the country rather than returning to the country of his mother and finally reside in the Philippines. Presently, he lives with his Filipina partner Jeramae Silvano, where he met in one disco bar. Although he suffers hardships and encounters many struggles in life here in the country, his girlfriend was always on his side to help him to cope with the trials and problems. They have already a child named Charles Marcum IV, his fourth child.

He looks for many different jobs in the country, presently he was hired as a security guard in a subdivision in Paranaque City to support and meet the needs of his family. Marcum Chase added
"Yung OIC namin dati tinanong n’ya ako kung gusto ko guwardiya trabaho kasi kulang sila. ‘Talaga?’ Sasabihin ko, ‘Sige’."
A lot of Pinoys were amazed and surprised when they know his decision, but he is not upset for what he did.
"Maraming tao hindi intindi bakit ako dito kasi may business, may bahay, may magandang kotse. Pero wala akong paki sa pera, wala akong paki sa gamit, sa kotse. Inisip ko mas importante masaya."
