Police officers promise and having an oath with the constitution to protect and serve the country including its citizen. The public is relying upon the police authority in time of security and peace and order. It must be done as it is expected by the citizens of the country. But not all police officers are committed to their responsibilities and to the constitution because some of them forgot what they promise to the country and the constitution.

How about if you are in the time of helplessness and to whom where you can count on? This is the situation suffers by one woman who allegedly encounters physical maltreatment in the hands of a certain police officer. It makes many rounds on the internet and it spread immediately and flooded the social media when it was posted in a Facebook Page "All about the Philippines" having a caption

"Panawagan kay Gen Bato. Pulis sinapak si Bes!Hayp na yan" 

From the post, the lady was known to be a certain Wendy Reyes remembered her traumatic experience regarding the alleged maltreatment of a cop by hitting her face not only one but twice. The alleged police officer is PO3 Rizal Belmonte together with Esmael Gayak. Here is the story according to the post on the Facebook Page "All about in the Philippines".

The woman named Wendy Reyes had some arguments with the police officer when she requests him to turn off the bright light of his motorcycle after midnight. She requested it courteously but the officer ridicule herby reversing what she requested and making it brighter than before and insulted with his aid Gayak. Again to clarify her request, she repeats the request to the two men. And because of this, the officers immediately become hostile.

PO3 Belmonte allegedly beat her face which makes her fall down. Her friend assists her to stand up but unfortunately, the cop beat again her face for the second time. Expecting that the other men will assist and help her, Gayak intentionally fell above her while she was crying. In the pictures, posted the face with a black eye and a medical certificate as an evidence of what she suffers from the maltreatment of the said cop.

The officer goes to his motorcycle to get his gun and threatening her to end her life by pointing a gun at her. Based on the confession of Reyes, the officer fired one shot and she was immediately brought to Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center. She posted what she experiences with the cop and calling the attention of PNP Chief Ronaldo Dela Rosa to help her. Meanwhile, the post receives numerous reactions from netizens.

The majority of them is seeking for justice for the terrible experience suffered by the victim and criticizing the alleged abuse and maltreatment. But some of the netizens commented that PO3 Belmonte must express his side regarding in the incident to be fair and to have a balanced judgment.
