As stated by Christian's family, he came from a nearby area to go to his father who is working as a singer. The father of Christian said:
“Masakit po sa akin. Hindi ko po matanggap na mawawala siya. Sobrang mahal ako nun.”
Marlito said Christian even sang for his viewers before his son left his workplace. Way back in 2015 wherein the Batangueño singer joined in “The Voice Kids” Season Two. And during the blind audition, Christian caught the attention of the juries as he sings “Ika’y Mahal Pa Rin”. With Bamboo as his coach, he became part of “Team Kawayan”. The young boy even achieved to reach the battle round of the show.
